VERTICALS  ·  Structural walls take-off

VertiFlo

Walls run the same form, reo, place chain as everything else. They just get forgotten until the end.

A Gridstone engine In trial Part of the Superstructure Package

VertiFlo is the structural walls engine. It covers the four families that behave differently on a take-off: permanent-form systems, core-filled masonry, precast and tilt-up, and in-situ reinforced concrete — together with shear, core and blade walls.

Walls are the part of the structure most often left to the end and then measured in a hurry. They carry a large share of the reo on a Class 2 job and they are where double-counting between trades usually happens.

Why the family has to be right

A permanent-form wall is typically scheduled with a single central layer of reinforcement. An in-situ reinforced concrete wall is scheduled to each face.

Get the family wrong and you are out by roughly half the steel in that wall. VertiFlo carries each family’s identity all the way through to the hand-off, so the reo that reaches ReoFlo and the fill that reaches CreteFlo arrive as what they actually are.

What you get

  • Wall register by family, with height, thickness, face area and length
  • Reinforcement identified per face or central, handed to ReoFlo for scheduling
  • Core fill volume handed to CreteFlo, with grade and placement method
  • Starters, ties, accessories and proprietary components quantified

VertiFlo is a take-off engine, not a design tool. It measures what your engineer has documented. It does not size members, check capacity or certify. Where the documentation is silent or contradictory you get a written query naming the sheet and the missing datum — the rest of the job is released while it is open.

Send us the drawings.

Structural set, current revision, PDF is fine. We will come back with the scope we can measure, anything we need answered, and a price before we start.
